Chicago's Holy Trinity Cathedral to host children's retreat March 22CHICAGO, IL [MW Diocese Communications] — Holy Trinity Cathedral, 1121 North Leavitt St., Chicago, will host a Lenten retreat for children on Saturday, March 22, 2014.

The program will begin with the celebration of the Divine Liturgy at 9:30 a.m. and conclude prior to Vigil at 4:30 p.m.  A pot luck luncheon will be served after the Liturgy.  At 3:00 p.m. Confessions will be available.

A full day of activities is being planned for all ages, including prosphora baking, a Holy Week and Pascha recall memory game, and making Liturgy scrapbooks and Orthodox Christian “Guidebooks for Life.”

There is no charge for the retreat, although participants are asked to bring sack lunches and snacks.  To register call 708-445-1105 or write to before March 8.
