Register for 55th Diocesan Assembly by September 1

LANSING, IL [MW Diocese Communications] — With the blessing of His Grace, Bishop Paul, the 55th Assembly of the Diocese of the Midwest will take place on the campus of Archangel Michael Serbian Orthodox Church, 1500 189th Street, Lansing, IL on Tuesday, October 11, 2016.  Meetings and meals will be held in the parish Social Center — a beautiful, church-owned banquet facility.

According to Archpriest John Zdinak, Diocesan Chancellor, the deadline for submitting registration forms and the $100.00 per delegate/observer registration fee is September 1, 2016.  No further assembly registrations will be accepted or processed after September 15.  Other details were made available in a letter recently sent to all parishes.

The deadline for securing lodging reservations at the Comfort Suites Lansing, 2235 West 173rd Street, Lansing, Illinois at the discounted Assembly rate of $95.00 is Thursday, September 15.  Reservations may be made by calling 708-418-3337 and mentioning the Diocese of the Midwest group rate.
