Altar Server Guide reprinted, now available for purchase

MINNEAPOLIS, MN [MW Diocese Communications] — Saint Mary’s Cathedral here is pleased to announce that its publication, An Altar Server’s Guide to the Liturgies, has been reprinted and is again available for purchase.

Altar Server Guide reprinted, now available for purchaseThe coil bound, 126-page book includes the texts of the Divine Liturgies of Saints John Chrysostom and Basil the Great and the Presanctified Liturgy of Saint Gregory Dialogos.

General notes of instruction for serving accompany the complete texts of each liturgy and are presented in the margins in regular type, while notes concerning actions occurring during hierarchical liturgies are presented in bold.  The book also features a number of appendices, including morning and evening prayers, prayers for before and after the reception of the Eucharist, the resurrectional Octoechos, prokeimena and scripture readings for the Presanctified Liturgy, and a comprehensive list of liturgical term definitions.
