Chicago Orthodox Christian Synergy announces 2018 annual SymposiumDES PLAINES, IL [MW Diocese Communications] — “The Nones: Who are They and How Do We Reach Them?” will be the topic of Chicago Orthodox Christian Synergy's 2018 Symposium on Saturday, October 20, 2018.

The annual event will be held at Saint John the Baptist Greek Orthodox Church, 2350 East Dempster Street, Des Plaines, IL from 9:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m.

Dr. Nathan Jacobs, Director of the documentary film “Becoming Truly Human,” will speak about the increasing number of “Nones” — those describing themselves as religiously unaffiliated — and what the Church and her members can do to connect them and bring them back to the faith.
