In Memoriam: Archpriest Joseph Gibson

INDIANAPOLIS, IN [DOM Communications] – Archpriest Joseph Gibson, retired Rector of St. John the Forerunner Church, Indianapolis, IN, and former Dean of the Indianapolis Deanery fell asleep in the Lord.
Fr. Joseph was ordained to the Diaconate on August 15th, 2002 and to the Priesthood on August 16, 2002 by Archbishop Job (Osacky). He was then installed as the first Rector of the newly received parish of St. John the Forerunner in Indianapolis, IN and served there until August of 2013 and served as the Dean of the Indianapolis Deanery from 2006 until 2013. Father Joseph is survived by his wife Beth, his daughters Emily (Daniel) and Anna (Jared) and five grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 22 from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. with a memorial service starting at 7:00 P.M. The funeral will be held the following day, January 23 at 9:30 A.M. with the interment at Floral Park Cemetery. All services will be held at St. John the Forerunner Orthodox Church, Indianapolis, IN.
