MIAMI, FL [DOM Communications] – Matushka Tresja Denysenko, the beloved wife of Deacon Nicholas Denysenko, who serves at Protection of the Virgin Mary Church, Merrillville, IN, fell asleep in the Lord unexpectedly on August 19, 2021
Originally from Minnesota, Matushka Tresja is survived by her husband and daughter, as well as her mother and stepfather. She is remembered as a beloved wife, mother, daughter, and dear friend. Matushka’s kindness and heartfelt passion was exhibited by her tireless involvement as a disaster response expert with the Bureau for Humanitarian Assistance.

Saturday, August 28 – 10:00 a.m., Rite of Burial (Funeral), Holy Trinity Orthodox Church, St. Paul, MN
A short luncheon will take place in Archangel Michael Hall after the funeral. Private internment to take place Saturday afternoon at Forest Hill cemetery, Duluth, MN.
