CHICAGO, IL [DOM] – On Monday, March 4, the feast of the Right-believing Prince Daniel of Moscow was held at St. George Cathedral, Chicago, IL. The Right-believing prince is the heavenly patron of His Eminence Archbishop Daniel of Chicago adn the Midwest.
Divine Liturgy was celebrated by the Archbishop and he was joined by Priest Nikolai Lochmatow, Rector, Mitered Archpriest Vladimir Kovalchuk, Archpriest Tarasiy Maxim, Priest Anthony Saunders, Priest Joseph Whittaker, and Deacon Paul Garklavs.
At the end of the service the Archbishop offered a homily speaking about the work and life of St. Daniel. After the veneration of the relics, Priest Alexander Koranda congratulated the Archbishop on behalf of the Diocese and the gathered Deanery clergy, asking God to continue to strengthen the Archbishop for many more years of service.
