St. Tikhon’s Midwest Seminarians Offer Prayers for Cleveland Cathedral

SOUTH CANAAN, PA [DOM] – On June 14, the diocesan seminarians of St. Tikhon’s Orthodox Theological Seminary gathered together to offer their prayers for the St. Theodosius Cathedral community, whose temple recently suffered damage from a fire.

The seminarians gathered together under Igumen Sophrony of St Tikhon’s monastic brotherhood, who served the moleben to St. Theodosius of Chernigov before the saint’s relics in the monastery’s chapel that is also dedicated to him. Those gathered asked St. Theodosius for his intercessions in the repair and recovery of Cathedral in Cleveland. Joining the diocesan seminarians were other first year students from various dioceses as well as the Deacon Sampson Nash, of St Gregory of Nyssa in Columbus, OH, who teaches the first year Ethics course during the special summer intensive term.
