CHICAGO, IL [DOM] – On Saturday, December 20, the feast of St. John of Kronstadt, His Eminence Archbishop Daniel of Chicago and the Midwest presided over the Divine Liturgy at the Diocesan Cathedral, Holy Trinity Cathedral, Chicago, IL.
Serving with His Eminence were Archpriest Herman Kincaid, Chancellor; Priest Alexander Koranda, Cathedral Dean; Priest Nikolai Lochmatow, Diocesan Secretary; Priest Daniel Greeson; Priest John Thetford; Priest Joseph Whittaker; Priest Paul Schlafer; Deacon Timothy Heinbokel; and Deacon Pedro Sarsama. The choir was directed by Cathedral Choir Director, Reader Vladimir Lymar.
After the Great Entrance, Dn. Pedro was ordained to the Holy Priesthood.
Following the Divine Liturgy, the Archbishop spoke on the life of St. John and congratulated the family. The family hosted a meal St. George Cathedral, down the street.
