Bishop Paul visits Chicago’s St. George Cathedral

CHICAGO, IL [MW Diocese Communications] — On May 16-17, 2015, His Grace, Bishop Paul made an archpastoral visit to Saint George Cathedral here.

Bishop Paul visits Chicago's St. George CathedralAccording to Deacon Alexander Koranda, “his visit began with Great Vespers on Saturday evening, and on the Sunday of the Blind Man, he served the Hierarchical Divine Liturgy and preached on evangelism.  He explained that when we reach out to others, or people enquire about the Faith, to take a simple approach and to talk about what God has done for you in your life.”

Following the Divine Liturgy, the cathedral’s annual patronal banquet which was attended by faithful from throughout the Chicagoland area.

“This warm and friendly environment gave the faithful access to Bishop Paul, who embraced the opportunity to meet those gathered,” added Deacon Alexander.
