Lorain, Ohio parishes to celebrate Pan-Orthodox Divine Liturgy on First Sunday of Great Lent
LORAIN, OH [MW Diocese Communications] — Lorain, OH’s five Orthodox Christian parishes will celebrate a combined Divine Liturgy on the first Sunday of Great Lent — the Sunday of Orthodoxy — February 25, 2018.
The Divine Liturgy will be celebrated at Saint Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, 2000 Tower Blvd, Lorain, OH at 10:00 a.m.
Other parishes that will be participating include Saints Peter and Paul [OCA] Church, Saints Cyril and Methodius [OCA] Church, Saint George Serbian Orthodox Church, and Saint Mary Ukrainian Orthodox Church.
The faithful of Saint Nicholas Church will host a light Lenten luncheon after the Divine Liturgy, to which all are invited.
