BURR RIDGE, IL [DOM Communications] – The feast of the Chief Apostles, St. Peter and St. Paul, was celebrated by His Eminence, Archbishop Paul at St. Peter and St. Paul Church in Burr Ridge, IL on Monday, June 29. Archbishop Paul was joined by Priest Alexander Koranda, Dean of Holy Trinity Cathedral, and Deacon John Kornafel. Priest Herman Kincaid, Rector of St. Peter and St. Paul, welcomed those gathered for the divine celebration. Priest Esteban Vazquez, Protodeacon Thomas Keith, and Deacon Mark Sauskojus were also in attendance.
During his homily, Archbishop Paul talked about the need to rely on Christ above all things. He emphasized that Christ will not abandon us during these difficult times, just as He did not abandon the Holy Apostles during their times of struggle and suffering.
