BROADVIEW HEIGHTS, OH [DOM] – As part of its Centennial Year Anniversary, Archangel Michael Church in Broadview Heights, OH celebrated the Liturgy of St. James upon his feast, Sunday, October 23. The service was proceeded by weeks of preparation, educational and explanatory talks, as well as written articles. A service book was also complied with directions and rubrical notations for the clergy.
Archpriest John Memorich, Rector of the parish reflected; “although it seemed quite ‘foreign’ and dissimilar to our normally celebrated liturgies, it went rather smoothly and all who attended appreciated this rare opportunity to experience this ancient liturgy of the Church which is rarely served outside of Jerusalem.”
