CHICAGO, IL [DOM] – On Saturday, April 27, the Feast of Rising of Lazarus, His Eminence Archbishop Daniel of Chicago and the Midwest celebrated divine services at the Diocesan Cathedral, Holy Trinity Cathedral, Chicago, IL. His Eminence was joined by cathedral clergy, Priest Alexander Koranda, Cathedral Dean, Archpriest Tasrasiy Maxim, Protodeacon Thomas Keith. The Cathedral Choir was directed by Olga Garklavs.
During the service, the Archbishop prayed for all of those being received into the Orthodox Church throughout the Diocese of the Midwest. A large number of catechumens were received into the faith throughout the Diocese on this day.
