WARREN, OH [DOM] – An archpastoral visitation took place at St. John the Baptist Church in Warren, OH on November 2 and 3 by His Eminence Archbishop Daniel of Chicago and the Midwest.
On Saturday after the celebration of Great Vespers, the Archbishop spoke about how the parish is a family in Christ, and that wherever he goes, he feels at home, because he is with his family. After the veneration of the cross and final blessing, a meal was held in the social hall, followed by fellowship.
On Sunday His Eminence presided over the Divine Liturgy and was assisted by Priest Esteban Vázquez, Diocesan Vice-Chancellor; Priest Basil Crivella, Rector; and Deacon David Gemmel. The choir was directed by Mr. Mark Malacky. Following the service a festive meal was held in the parish hall.
