ELLWOOD CITY, PA [DOM] – On Sunday, October 16, His Grace Bishop Daniel visited Holy Transfiguration Monastery, Ellwood City, PA to visit with His Eminence Archbishop Melchisedek of Pittsburgh and the Archdiocese of Western Pennsylvania.
Upon arrival, Bishop Daniel was greeted by the Abbess, Mother Christophora, and venerated the holy altar at the monastery church. His Grace then spent time conversing with Archbishop Melchisedek and visiting other sites of the monastery.
His Grace was accompanied by Archpriest William Evansky, Chancellor to the Archdiocese of the Western Pennsylvania and Deacon Peter Ilchuk.
