CHICAGO, IL [DOM Communications] – Archpriest Alexander Kuchta, Dean of the Chicago Deanery, recently announced the deanery’s schedule of Sunday evening Lenten Vespers and homilists. This year’s services will take on a different form compared to the usual format as all services will be closed to visitors and links are provided for access and virtual participation. The services will begin at 6:00 p.m.
- Sunday, March 28: St. Luke Church, Palos Heights, IL; Archpriest Paul Jannakos, homilist.
- Sunday, April 4: St. Joseph Church, Wheaton, IL; Archpriest Joseph Kopka, homilist.
- Sunday, April 11: Christ the Savior Church, Chicago, IL; Archpriest John Baker, homilist.
- Sunday, April 18: St. Cyril and St. Methodius Church, Milwaukee, WI; Archpriest Elijah Mueller, homilist.
On Palm Sunday — April 25 — Holy Trinity Cathedral, Chicago, will host the celebration of Bridegroom Matins, served by His Eminence, Archbishop Paul, who will also give the homily.
