DOM Parishioner to Bike 50 miles in Memory of Archbishop Paul

BROADVIEW HIGHTS, OH – A parishioner of Archangel Michael Orthodox Church in Broadview Heights, OH, will be participating in VeloSano – Bike to Cure – the Cleveland Clinic’s annual fundraiser for life-saving cancer research this coming fall.  Phil Tesar, a regular participate of this worthy cause, is dedicating this year’s effort in memory of His Eminence Archbishop Paul.

“This year, I’m riding my bike 50 miles in memory of His Eminence, Archbishop Paul. His Eminence was a loving and caring man, and served our diocese faithfully since 2014,” said Tesar.

The event will take place on Saturday, September 10, and he will bike 50 miles in memory of the late Archbishop. Tesar is looking to increase his goal from previous years to raise over $12,000, which will double what he raised the past two years.  “As an extra challenge – if I can raise over $15,000, I’ll increase my ride to the 75-mile course!,” he added.
