PALOS HILLS, IL [DOM] – Louis Baseleon 97, the father of the Diocesan Bookkeeper, Angie Kladis, passed away peacefully early Thursday morning with family at his side. Beloved husband of the late Maria for over 68 years. Loving father of Dean (Lisa) Baseleon and Angie (Louie) Kladis. Proud Pappou of Christopher, Maria, John, Demetri and Mark. Dear Theo and Nouno of many. Louis was a World War II Veteran who proudly served his country. He fought with the 298th Combat Engineers which helped liberate France, Belgium and Germany. Louis will be dearly missed by family and friends.
In lieu of flowers memorials will be made to Father Byron Koraes Student Assistance Fund and The Wounded Warriors Project.
