MAPLE HEIGHTS, OH [DOM] – The children of St. Andrew Church, Maple Heights, OH fundraise all year by hosting various brunches and coffee hours. Each year during the Nativity Fast, a charity or a local school is chosen by the children to support. This year the children picked a program ran by the local Maple Heights Police Department.
The police department sponsors a program for underprivileged children called “Shop with a Cop”. The Church School donated their funds to sponsor one of these children. The children in need will then go shopping with the officers and are able to purchase gifts and needed items.
