MINNEAPOLIS, MN [DOM] – St Mary’s Cathedral, Minneapolis, MN, invites applications for the position of full time music director. With a passion for Orthodox church singing and the professional skills to lead a large choir and smaller ensembles, and with experience in choral traditions found in the Orthodox Church in America, you may be a good fit for this job opening.
An applicant will have: academic training that includes church music; leadership skills in directing and decision making; experience in directing parish choirs in the full range of church singing typical of an OCA parish. An Orthodox seminary degree is preferable, but not required. Salary in the upper $50,000 range, depending on experience, with medical and dental insurance, OCA pension, relocation assistance, and support for further education.
The cathedral is looking for someone by late June, 2025, if not sooner.
