Chicago area choirs to present concert of Paschal music May 20BURR RIDGE, IL [MW Diocese Communications] — A concert of liturgical music, “The Music of Pascha of the Orthodox Church,” will be presented at Saints Peter and Paul Church, 6980 County Line Rd., Burr Ridge, IL on Sunday, May 20, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. The Sts. Peter and Paul Church Choir and the Orthodox Concert Choir of Chicago will be directed by Mr. John Sutko.
“This concert is a major fundraising event in support of the parish established ‘Archbishop +JOB Memorial Seminarian Scholarship Fund’ who was himself a native of the parish, and where he was received into the Orthodox Faith as a young man, said Fr. Herman. Currently, this fund is providing a full scholarship to a student at St. Tikhon’s Seminary who is a native son of the parish.
