Advent Concert in Minneapolis
MINNEAPOLIS, MN [MW Diocese Communications] — The Choir of Saint Mary’s Cathedral here will present a concert, titled “Make Ready, O Bethlehem: A Festal Journey through the Orthodox Hymnography of Advent,” at the cathedral on Saturday, December 8, 2012 at 7:30 p.m.
“Produced and directed by Deacon Gregory Ealy, the concert traces the advent of Christ as a liturgical journey from the Annunciation to Christmas, using the Church’s hymnographic texts and special melodies” according to Archpriest Andrew Morbey, cathedral dean.
