Wonderworking Icon of Saint Anna to visit Chicago’s Christ the Savior Church May 2-4
CHICAGO, IL [MW Diocese Communications] — The Wonderworking Icon of Saint Anna, currently enshrined at Saint Tikhon of Zadonsk Monastery, South Canaan, PA, will visit Christ the Savior Church, 927 North LaSalle, Chicago, from Friday, May 2 through Sunday, May 4, 2014.
Igumen Sergius, Abbot of Saint Tikhon’s Monastery, will accompany the icon, which will be available for veneration throughout the weekend. In addition, he will lead a retreat on Saturday, May 3.
The schedule for the weekend is as follow.
Friday, May 2 6:30 p.m. Akathistos to the Righteous Saint Anna, followed by a
short presentation by Father Sergius titled “Saints in Big
