SS. Peter and Paul Church, Burr Ridge, IL initiates search for choir director
BURR RIDGE, IL [MW Diocese Communications] — Saints Peter and Paul Church here has opened a search for a choir director, who would begin his or her ministry at the beginning of 2016.
The successful candidate must possess a knowledge of liturgical services in the English language. Duties include preparing all liturgical texts and music according to the rubrics and calendar of the Orthodox Church in America, directing all regularly scheduled services, and conducting rehearsals. Additional duties may involve directing special services, including baptisms, weddings and funerals. Compensation is negotiable and will be based on experience and training.
