Pan-Orthodox Akathistos services to be held in Chicago
CHICAGO, IL [MW Diocese Communications] — The Orthodox Christian Clergy Association of Greater Chicago will sponsor two Akathistos services on the evening of Tuesday, April 19, 2016. Both services will begin at 7:00 p.m.
Faithful from north side parishes will gather at the New Gracanica Serbian Orthodox Monastery of the Protection of the Theotokos, Route 45, one mile south of Route 132, Grayslake, IL. South side faithful will gather at Saint Peter and Saint Paul Church [OCA], 6980 County Line Road, Burr Ridge, IL.
Lenten refreshments and fellowship will follow both services.
