Chicago’s St. George Cathedral to celebrate patronal feast May 5-6
CHICAGO, IL [MW Diocese Communications] — Archimandrite Vladimir [Wendling] and the faithful of Saint George Cathedral here invite clergy and faithful from throughout the Chicago area to join them as they celebrate their patronal feast honoring the Great Martyr George on May 5-6, 2016.
Paschal Vespers and Matins will be celebrated on Bright Thursday, May 5 at 5:30 p.m. A special male choir will offer the liturgical responses. A cookout with a variety of activities for children will follow. Paschal Hours and the Divine Liturgy will be celebrated on Bright Friday, May 6, at 9:25 a.m. Fellowship and refreshments will follow.
