Archangel Michael Church to host Seventh Annual Fr. Vladimir Prislopsky Lecture September 24

BROADVIEW HEIGHTS, OH [MW Diocese Communications] — Seraphim Danckaert, Director of Mission Advancement at Saint Tikhon’s Seminary, South Canaan, PA, will deliver the Seventh Annual Father Vladimir Prislopsky Lecture at Archangel Michael Church here on Saturday, September 24, 2016.

Archangel Michael Church to host Seventh Annual Fr Vladimir Prislopsky Lecture September 24The lecture and a light meal will follow the celebration of Great Vespers at 5:00 p.m.

In his presentation, “Why Young People Are Leaving The Orthodox Church And What To Do About it,” Mr. Danckaert will share insights based on various major studies with regard to raising children who continue to live their faith in adulthood. He also will offer practical steps to “make a difference” in the lives of children, grandchildren and the parish community.

Father Vladimir Prislopsky served as Rector of Archangel Michael Church for 37 years — from August 1933 until his repose in September 1970.
