Dn. Jacob Van Sickle ordained to priesthood at Cleveland’s St. Theodosius Cathedral

CLEVELAND, OH [MW Diocese Communications] — His Grace, Bishop Paul ordained Deacon Jacob Van Sickle to the Holy Priesthood at Saint Theodosius Cathedral here on Sunday, September 11, 2016.  This year marks the cathedral’s 120th anniversary.

Dn Jacob Van Sickle ordained to priesthood at Clevelands St Theodosius CathedralBishop Paul celebrated the Divine Liturgy with Archpriest John Zdinak, Diocesan Chancellor and Dean of the cathedral; Priest Nicholas Finley, Rector of the Nativity of the Virgin Mary Church, Madison, IL; Priest Gregory Owen, Rector of Saint Joseph Bulgarian Orthodox Mission, Berrien Springs, MI; and the cathedral’s Protodeacon Daniel Boerio.

According to Father John, Father Jacob will continue to serve at Saint Theodosius Cathedral, where he served as a deacon for the last year.

May God Grant the newly ordained Priest Jacob, Matushka Jenna, Michael, John and Aaron many blessed years!
