Christ the Savior-Holy Spirit Church, Cincinnati to host autumn retreat October 21-22
CINCINNATI, OH [MW Diocese Communications] — Priest Andrew Stephen Damick, Pastor of Saint Paul Antiochian Orthodox Church, Emmaus, PA, will be the featured speaker at the autumn retreat sponsored by Christ the Savior-Holy Spirit Church here Friday and Saturday, October 21-22, 2016.
A noted author and host of two podcasts on Ancient Faith Radio, Father Andrew will explore the retreat theme, “The Church In and After the Scriptures,” in two separate presentations, according to Archpriest Steven Kostoff, host Rector.
The program will begin on Friday with the celebration of Vespers at 6:00 p.m. Father Andrew’s first presentation will begin at 7:00 p.m. A question-and-answer session and refreshments will follow.
On Saturday, the Divine Liturgy will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m., followed by Father Andrew’s second presentation at 11:45 a.m. Closing prayers will be offered at 1:00 p.m.
Suggested donation for the gathering is $15.00 per adult. Free child care will be available during Saturday’s presentation.
