In Memoriam: Matushka Barbara Dye
OVERLAND PARK, KS [MW Diocese Communications] — Matushka Barbara [Adams] Dye, wife of the late Archpriest Gregory Dye, fell asleep in the Lord on Friday, April 28, 2017.
After their marriage in 1967, she and her late husband converted to Orthodox Christianity and subsequently served numerous parishes in the Saint Louis/Kansas City Deanery for over 20 years. Father Gregory fell asleep in the Lord on May 13, 2016.
Matushka Barbara is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth [Scott] Schulte, her son Alexander [Jenner] Dye, and two granddaughters.
Visitation will begin at Holy Trinity Church, Overland Park, KS at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 7. The Funeral Service will be celebrated at the church at 5:00 p.m. A reception will follow in the parish hall. Interment will be held at Maple Grove Cemetery, Wichita, KS, at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, May 8.
