Chicago’s Holy Trinity Cathedral to hold children’s Lenten retreat Saturday, March 24

CHICAGO, IL [MW Diocese Communications] — Priest Alexander Koranda and the faithful of Holy Trinity Cathedral will hold a lenten retreat for children on Saturday, March 24, 2018.  Children from all area parishes are invited to attend free of charge.

The day will begin with the celebration of the Divine Liturgy at 9:30 a.m.  A pot luck lunch will follow.  Activities will include a Holy Week and Pascha Recall Memory Game and Prosphora baking.

Three workshops also will be held.  Children in grades six through nine will make scrapbooks of the Divine Liturgy, while attendees in grades two through five will make travel guidebooks for the Kingdom of God.  Children ages three through seven will enjoy a story and prosphora craft.  The day will close with a Reconciliation Service at 2:30 p.m.
