OLMSTED FALLS, OH [MW Diocese Communications] — Archpriest Andrew Stephen Damick will present a retreat titled “Orthodox Christian Engagement in Our Families, Our Churches and Our World” at Saint Innocent Church, 8526 Usher Road, Olmsted Falls, OH on Friday and Saturday, August 24-25, 2018.

St Innocent Church Olmsted Falls OH to host retreat with Fr Andrew DamickFather Andrew is a priest of the Antiochian Orthodox Christian Archdiocese of North America who lectures widely on Orthodox evangelism, history, ecology, comparative theology, and localism.  He has published several books and articles and serves as the host of three podcasts on Ancient Faith Radio.

The retreat will open on Friday, August 24 with a presentation titled “We’re All Absalom:  Emerging into Adulthood Alongside Our Parents” at 7:00 p.m.

On Saturday, Father Andrew will speak on “A Renewing Ministry:  Orthodox Christian Witness and Ministry in This Secular Age” at 9:00 a.m., followed by refreshments.  “Orthodox Christianity and Relations with the Non-Orthodox” will be the topic of his final presentation at 10:30 a.m.

Father Andrew’s books will be available for sale and signing.
