57th Diocesan Assembly to convene October 8-10, 2018
CHICAGO, IL [MW Diocese Communications] — The 57th Assembly of the Diocese of the Midwest will be held in Lansing, IL October 8-10, 2018.
The first plenary session will be held on the morning of Tuesday, October 9, with the Diocesan and Bishops’ Councils slated to meet on the preceding day. The final plenary session will end in the early afternoon on Wednesday, October 10. Delegates from regions of the diocese other than Chicago are urged to arrive on Monday evening. Chicago’s Midway Airport is the closest airport to the assembly site.
This year’s gathering will be one day longer than past assemblies.
Officers and chairpersons are asked to submit reports by September 15. Parish reports are due the same day.
