Pilgrimages to Holy Land, Russia announced for 2019
CHICAGO, IL [MW Diocese Communications] — Faithful of the Diocese of the Midwest are invited to participate in pilgrimages to the Holy Land and Russia in 2019.
His Grace, Bishop Paul and Archpriest Andrew Harrison, retired Pastor of Saint Luke Church, Palos Hills, IL, will lead a pilgrimage to the Holy Land from May 27 through June 5, 2019. Organized through AMI Travel, the pilgrimage price of $2,595.00 plus $418.00 tax includes round trip air fare from Chicago to Tel Aviv, four star hotels, breakfast and dinner daily, comprehensive sight-seeing private tour guide and transportation, all entrance fees, boat trip, Saint Peter fish dinner, and visits to numerous historic churches and shrines.

From July 12 through July 26, 2019, Archpriest Nicholas Wyslutsky and the faithful of Saint Nicholas Church, Mogadore, OH will host a pilgrimage, “The Best of Russia”. The unusually comprehensive itinerary includes a wealth of Church and historic sites in Moscow, Sergiev Posad, St. Petersburg, Pskov, Novgorod and Valaam. The pilgrimage price of $3,100.00 includes all land transportation, most meals, comprehensive sight-seeing, entrance fees, and more; airfare between the US and Russia is not included. The pilgrimage is being organized through Orthodox Tours.
