BURR RIDGE, IL [DOM] – The 62 Diocesan Assembly officially opened Monday evening, October 2, St. Peter and St. Paul Church, Burr Ridge, IL. The evening began with the greeting of the Chicago-Tikhvin Icon and the singing of the Akathist served by His Eminence Archbishop Daniel of Chicago and the Midwest. Following the service, His Eminence delivered his address to the assembly.
Following the Archbishop’s address, a reception was held in the parish hall.
