CHICAGO, IL [DOM] – The second day of the new year saw pilgrims from Holy Trinity Church, Overland Park, KS arrive in Chicago for a visit with their Archpastor.
His Eminence Archbishop Daniel of Chicago and the Midwest and Priest Alexander Koranda, Dean of Holy Trinity Cathedral, welcomed Archpriest Timothy Sawchak, Rector of Holy Trinity Church, and Dean of the Kansas City Deanery, and his delegation at the chancery offices in Burbank, IL. His Eminence greeted the travels and had an informal meal prepared for them.
On the following day, Tuesday, January 3, everyone arrived early at the Diocesan Cathedral, Holy Trinity Cathedral, and met with the Archbishop. The altar servers of Holy Trinity Church had a chance to meet with the Archbishop and review the services for his upcoming visit. After the practicum, Fr. Alexander led a tour of the historic cathedral.
Following the morning activities, Archbishop Daniel spent additional time welcoming his guests and showing them the local area.
