Second Anniversary of the Repose of Archbishop Paul (Gassios)

CHICAGO, IL [DOM] – His Eminence Archbishop Paul, the late Archbishop of Chicago and the Midwest reposed a two years ago on the Holy and Saving day of the Resurrection of the Lord, April 24, 2022. The beloved Archbishop was diagnosed with a rare form of brain cancer and fell asleep in the Lord only a few months after the diagnosis.

Memorial services will be held at the Diocesan Cathedral, Holy Trinity Cathedral, Chicago, IL, and throughout the diocese.

His Eminence Archbishop calls on the clergy and the faithful of the diocese to prayerful remember the late Archbishop of the day of his repose. May Archbishop Paul’s memory be eternal.
