YONKERS, NY [SVS] – In celebration of the St Vladimir’s Seminary chapel patronal feast, the Synaxis of the Ecumenical Teachers and Hierarchs Basil the Great, Gregory the Theologian, and John Chrysostom, the Divine Liturgy will be celebrated at 9 a.m. on Monday, January 30, at Three Hierarchs Chapel, presided by His Eminence the Most Reverend Daniel, Archbishop of Chicago and the Midwest.
At 7 p.m., St Vladimir’s Seminary will hold an Academic Convocation for all mid-year graduates in the Metropolitan Philip Auditorium. Following the convocation, the 40th Annual Father Alexander Schmemann Memorial Lecture will begin. This year, Dr Hans Boersma will deliver the presentation entitled: God as Embodied.
