CHICAGO, IL [DOM] – His Eminence Archbishop Paul, the late Archbishop of Chicago and the Midwest reposed a three years ago on the Holy and Saving day of the Resurrection of the Lord, April 24, 2022. The beloved Archbishop was diagnosed with a rare form of brain cancer and fell asleep in the Lord only a few months after the diagnosis.
The late Archbishop will be remembered at Paschal Vespers at the Diocesan Cathedral, Holy Trinity Cathedral, Chicago, IL, this evening, and throughout the diocese.
His Eminence Archbishop calls on the clergy and the faithful of the diocese to prayerful remember the late Archbishop of the day of his repose. May Archbishop Paul’s memory be eternal. Christ is risen!
