New York, NY [DOM Communications/ACOB) – The Assembly of Canonical Orthodox Bishops of the United States of America convened in person for the first time since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, in Washington, D.C. October 2-5 for its 10th Anniversary Meeting. During that meeting the hierarchs covered a wide range of topics, including, establishing a ministry focused on young adults and volunteering opportunities.

These two new Agencies will continue the Assembly of Bishops’ focus on youth and young adults,” according to the Assembly’s press release.
The OVC will be hosting a virtual kickoff event, “to share how they will prepare Orthodox young adults for a lifetime of service within and beyond the parish.”
