BURBANK, IL [DOM Communications] – During the Diocesan Council meetings which were held on December 1st and 2nd, His Eminence Archbishop Paul announced that effective February 1st 2021, Archpriest Paul Jannakos will be appointed Chancellor of the Diocese of the Midwest. Longtime Chancellor, Archpriest John Zdinak, will be retiring and assisting with the transition.
The Chancellor of the Diocese is the first priest of the diocese and serves as main administrator assisting the Archbishop’s office. More information will be forthcoming as this transition develops.
