PITTSBURGH, PA [FOCUS/DOM] –The Fellowship of Orthodox Christians United to Serve (FOCUS) has announced that they are looking for a full-time Center Director at St. Herman House – FOCUS Cleveland. FOCUS is united in faith and joined by a desire to provide solutions to poverty across America, according to their mission statement.
Mr. Kenneth D. Kidd, Executive Director of FOCUS, reports that the Center Director at St. Herman House – FOCUS Cleveland is responsible for the overall management and strategic direction of the ministry at two locations: 1) Shelter/Transitional Housing/Basic Needs operations in the Ohio City neighborhood of Cleveland; and 2) Spruce Farm operations in Trumbull County, Ohio. The Center Director will be skilled in building/maintaining relationships with all constituents vital to the ministry, including program participants, volunteers, program staff, donors, Orthodox Christian clergy and faith-based partners, partner service agencies, community leaders (business, political), law enforcement, volunteer advisory board, and FOCUS North America national leadership, to ensure the most effective and efficient delivery of services to the most vulnerable of our neighbors in greater Cleveland and northeast Ohio.
