CHICAGO, IL [DOM] – On Wednesday, September 14, the Great Feast of the Elevation of the Life-giving Cross, His Grace Bishop Daniel of Chicago and the Diocese of the Midwest served the festal services at his Diocesan Cathedral, Holy Trinity Cathedral.
On Tuesday, September 13, Bishop Daniel celebrated the All Night Vigil for the feast of the Cross and preformed the Rite of Elevation. The next day, His Grace celebrated Divine Liturgy and was joined by Priest Alexander Koranda, Cathedral Dean, Protodeacon Thomas Keith, and Deacon Paul Garklavs.
His Grace offered a homily on the Holy Cross, in which the faithful venerated following the sermon.
