CHICAGO, IL [DOM] – On January 24, the feast of St. Xenia of St. Petersburg, His Eminence Archbishop Daniel of Chicago and the Diocese of the Midwest celebrated the Divine Liturgy at Holy Trinity Cathedral, Chicago, IL. His Eminence was joined by Priest Alexander Koranda, Cathedral Dean, Priest Nikolai Lochmatow of St. George Cathedral, Protodeacon Thomas Keith, and Deacon Paul Garklavs.
The Litany for the Departed was taken during the liturgy for the newly departed Bishop Tikhon.
Commemorating the of eighth anniversary episcopal consecration, on behalf of the diocese, Fr. Alexander congratulated and thanked His Eminence for his ongoing efforts.
A gathering was held in the hall next door for clergy and faithful to greet their archpastor.
