ST. CLOUD, MN [DOM] – His Eminence, Archbishop Daniel of Chicago and the Midwest, made an archpastoral visit to Holy Myrrhbearers Church, St. Cloud, MN, from Friday, July 14 through Sunday, July 16. This was the Archbishop’s first time visiting this community.
His Eminence was welcomed on Friday evening by Archpriest Andrew Jaye, Rector, and other community members. On Saturday, July 15, the Archbishop continued to make visits including a meeting with Bishop Patrick Neary of the local Roman Catholic Diocese of St. Cloud. Great Vespers was served at Holy Myrrherarers Church later that evening.
On Sunday morning, Archbishop Daniel presided over the Divine Liturgy. Serving with the Archbishop were Father Andrew and Deacon Dana Bichler. Before the service, the Archbishop ordained Reader Timothy Blinnikov a subdeacon. During the Little Entrance, Fr. Andrew was awarded the jeweled cross, and Dn. Dana was awarded the double orarion. Following the divine services, a festive meal was held in the hall.
