CHICAGO, IL [DOM] – On October 9, the feast of St. Tikhon of Moscow, Enlightener of America, His Eminence Archbishop Daniel of Chicago and the Midwest attended the Divine Liturgy at Holy Trinity Cathedral, Chicago, IL. At the conclusion of the divine services, His Eminence extended congratulations to His Beatitude Metropolitan Tikhon, Archbishop of Washington, Metropolitan of All America and Canada, on the occasion of his name day. The “Many Years” was then intoned for His Beatitude the Metropolitan.
His Eminence Archbishop Daniel, along with the clergy and faithful of the Diocese of the Midwest, again congratulates the Primate of the Orthodox Church in America, as we pray to St. Tikhon to intercede before the throne of God for our Metropolitan’s continued health and good work.
