WARREN, OH [DOM] – An archpastoral visitation took place at St. John the Baptist Church in Warren, OH on November 2 and 3 by His Eminence Archbishop Daniel of Chicago and the Midwest.
On Saturday after the celebration of Great Vespers, the Archbishop spoke about how the parish is a family in Christ, and that wherever he goes, he feels at home, because he is with his family. After the veneration of the cross and final blessing, a meal was held in the social hall, followed by fellowship.
On Sunday His Eminence presided over the Divine Liturgy and was assisted by Priest Esteban Vazquez, Priest Brian Crivella, Rector, and Deacon David Gemmel. The choir was directed by Mr. Mark Malacky. Following the service a festive meal was held in the parish hall.
