PHOENIX, AZ [DOM] – The 64th Diocesan Assembly of the Diocese of the Midwest was held this the afternoon, Monday, July 14, 2025. His Eminence Archbishop Daniel of Chicago and the Midwest chaired the annual diocesan gathering.
Delegates of the Midwest Diocese filled the meeting room in the Arizona Grand Resort, Phoenix, AZ, the location of the All-American Council, in order to convene this annual gathering. The Archbishop delivered his address to the diocese speaking about the development and growth of the diocese over the past three years. His Eminence especially noted the increase in seminarians within the diocese, as well as the many catechumens throughout the diocese. Archbishop Daniel thanked the diocese and expressed his love and prayers for his flock.
Reports were given by the Chancellor, Treasurer, and auditors. Elections were held for the vacancies in the Diocesan Council, Metropolitan Council, and on the Auditors Committee.
The 62nd Diocesan Assembly was closed with the prayerful installation of the newly elected members.
