New Resources Available from DOM Department of Christian Service & Humanitarian Aid

CHICAGO, IL [DOM] – The Department of Christian Service & Humanitarian Aid has recently announced several new resources that are now available through the department’s website.

In an email to clergy of the Midwest, Archpriest Christopher Rowe, Chair of the Department of Service & Humanitarian Aid, highlighted several of these new offerings including:

  1. Revised and Updated Website – Explore our refreshed design and improved navigation for easier access to materials and guidance.

  2. Directory of Orthodox Nonprofits – A curated list of organizations operating within the boundaries of the Midwest Diocese that are ready to partner with your parish for charitable initiatives.
  3. Parish Ministry Ideas and Templates – Practical guides and templates to help your parish start or strengthen ministries in your community.
These resources are designed to assist parishes in either building a service ministry in their parish or expanding their current work. “We encourage you to review the nonprofit directory and consider opportunities for collaboration that can also extend your parish outreach. Our department wants to be an active resource for you in to help care for your community – both internal and external,” stated Fr. Christopher.
Parishes are also invited to share ideas and ongoing ministries with the department.
